Live Updates: 2024 Alabama Football SEC Opponent Reveal
With the addition of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC approaching closer and closer by the day, the time has come for the conference to reveal each member's opponents for the 2024 college football season.
The conference will announce each team's opponents live on SEC Network, beginning at 6 p.m. CT. The full week-by-week schedule will not be revealed tonight, only the opponents themselves. The full week-by-week 2024 schedule will be revealed later in the fall.

The SEC has long debated the costs and benefits between an 8- or 9-game conference schedule once the Longhorns and Sooners make the league 16 teams, but an 8-game schedule was decided upon for at least the 2024 season at last month's SEC Spring Meetings in Destin.
Throughout the day, a few games on Alabama football's 2024 schedule have already been leaked, the most prominent being a visit from the Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart. This will be the first time Alabama and Georgia have met in the regular season since 2020, when the Crimson Tide won 41-24 inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Additionally, Alabama will reportedly take a trip out west to play Oklahoma in Norman. The last time these two college football powerhouses played was in the 2018 College Football Playoff, when Alabama won the Orange Bowl over the Sooners and Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray by a final score of 45-34.
