Greg Sankey and the Southeastern Conference are announcing the 2024 conference football schedule tonight on the SEC Network but that hasn't stopped reports and rumors from leaking out ahead of time.

One of the marquee games on the conference schedule next season will see the Georgia Bulldogs travel to Bryant-Denny Stadium to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to Charlie Potter of BamaOnline.

The matchup is the first regular season event between the programs since 2020 when Georgia played in front of a reduced crowd at Alabama, but still lost to the Tide 41-24.

An Alabama-Georgia matchup isn't the only tidbit that's leaked ahead of time. Peter Burns of the SEC Network took to Twitter to report that each of the 14 original SEC school will play either Texas or Oklahoma in 2024, ensuring the newcomers an opportunity to get to know its new conference.

Georgia isn't the only SEC East team that's rumored to be playing in Bryant-Denny Stadium, according to Brad Crawford of 247Sports the South Carolina Gamecocks are expected to make its first appearance in Tuscaloosa since 2009.

Piggybacking off of Burns's report that every current school league school will play Oklahoma or Texas in 2024, ESPN's Chris Low reports the Crimson Tide will head to Norman for a date with the Sooners.

Connecting the dots with these rumors makes the Tide's 2024 SEC opponents include, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn and Oklahoma with two more opponents yet to be determined.

Alabama's 2024 non-conference opponents have been in place for quite some time now. The Tide will host Western Kentucky, South Florida and Mercer but will also hit the road and take on the Wisconsin Badgers.

This story will be updated throughout the day as more schedule announcements are made.
