Kevin Heywood

The 6-foot-7, 290-pound prospect out of Pope John Paul II Catholic High School, in Royersford, Pa., is ranked as the consensus No. 18 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 4 junior in the state, per On3 Recruiting. Heywood received an offer from the Crimson Tide on April 7.

Heywood's aggression on tape might be his best asset. Heywood explodes off the line of scrimmage, striking high up on the edge rusher to forcefully rag-doll him around. Heywood uses his strength to move edge rushers off to the side, creating large gaps for ball carriers.

When the quarterback rolls out, Heywood has the speed to stay with the edge rusher, giving his gunslinger the maximum time to find a receiver. He's versatile enough to play guard as well, but his size best fits with the tackle position.

Jordan Young

The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect out of Monroe High School, N.C., is ranked as the consensus No. 1 ATH in the nation, No. 2 sophomore in the state and the No. 16 player in the class, per On3 Recruiting. Young received an offer from the Crimson Tide on April 7.

The most obvious asset that appears throughout Young's tape is his speed. He is simply the fastest man on the field and it's not even close.

As a wide receiver, he uses his speed to easily breakaway from defensive backs to make deep ball catches. This works through short and medium routes as his yards after catch goes through the roof. To put it into perspective, Young finished his sophomore season with 640 yards on 27 receptions and seven touchdowns.

Young also excels as a defensive back. He does a great job of reading the quarterback's eyes when lined up as a safety, and can anticipate where and when the ball will be thrown. Young's receiving experience pays off as he becomes quite the ball hawk in these situations.

Young also tackles according to the textbook, hitting hard in an effective and efficient manner. He finished his sophomore season with 27 tackles and seven interceptions.

Carson Sneed

The 6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect out of Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville, Tenn. isn't ranked on 247 Sports or On3 Recruiting yet, as he's only a freshman. However, in addition to receiving an offer from the Crimson Tide on April 7, Sneed's earned offers from several other schools, including Ole Miss, Tennessee and Michigan.

Sneed's frame is much larger than most freshmen, and he takes advantage of it in his tape. It mostly showcases how much he overpowers edge rushers.

Sneed explodes off the snap like a tight end and blocks like an offensive tackle. He has the strength to pancake and turn edge rushers to the side to create gaps on a consistent basis.

The tape didn't show him much as a pass-catcher, but in the few clips it displayed his ability to release from the blocker and quickly get open. If he remains a tight end over the next couple of years, he could become the best in his class for both responsibilities of the position.
