Recruiting Rundown: Three Up, Three Down, Alabama Anticipates Trio of Additions
The Alabama Crimson Tide football program added one prospect over the past week in four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley.
Grimsley became the Tide's tenth commitment in the 2024 class and it won't be long before the eleventh jumps onboard as there appears to be a fun week ahead.
2024 four-star cornerback Zabien Brown will make his college commitment on Sunday. Brown, out of Mater Dei, is considering Alabama, Southern Cal and Ohio State for his college choices.
Experts at On3Sports predict Brown to choose the Crimson Tide, continuing to establish a pipeline from Mater Dei to Tuscaloosa.
In addition to Brown, Alabama is anticipating its first tight end to join the class in four-star Caleb Odom. Odom is out of Carrollton, Ga., and will make his college commitment next Saturday, July 15.
The 6-foot-5, 215 pound athlete is choosing between Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Miami and Florida.

Checking Out The Capstone
Unfortunately Tuscaloosa, like the rest of the NCAA, faces a few quiet weekends with the dead period continuing through the majority of July.
Recruits are obviously allowed to visit on their own schedules and budgets, but Universities cannot host official visits and in-person contact must cease.
Coaches are still allowed to contact and communicate with prospects by way of email, phone, social media or other indirect methods.
