Alabama football's new offensive coordinator, Tommy Rees, made one of his first big moves on Saturday extending an offer to 2025 4-star quarterback George MacIntyre.

The 6-foot-5, 185 pound prospect out of Brentwood Academy in Tennessee is ranked as the No. 2 overall sophomore in the state, No. 2 quarterback and No. 30 prospect in the nation, per 247 Sports.

“Coach Rees is an offensive genius that I believe will do great there,” MacIntyre told On3. "The opportunity to play for Coach Saban is very special.”

MacIntyre's main theme in his highlights is his quick release. The pass-rush is rarely able to put any sort of pressure on him as his eyes and arm go downfield the second its snapped.

When he is under pressure, it doesn't faze him in the slightest as he'll still make a play without the ball/him hitting the ground. The pro-style quarterback also has the legs to escape the pocket when facing a blitz and has made several clutch throws during his freshman and sophomore campaigns.

MacIntyre's deep ball is what will really put your hands behind your head saying "no way he just did that,". The 6-foot-5 height not only helps MacIntyre see over the line of scrimmage, but way downfield to receivers who barely have a step over the defensive backs. One clip in the highlights showed him launching it from one 20-yard line to the other, something very few 16-year-olds can do.

As MacIntyre prepares for his junior season, expect him to come for revenge after his team was ruled inches short of reaching the state finals.

MacIntyre has already received offers from 23 other schools, including Auburn, LSU and Tennessee. It's worth noting that he's also received offers from Arizona State and FIU to play College Hoops, per 247 Sports.
