FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Razorbacks hosted its second of three Junior Day visits for the month of January on Saturday. Arkansas had around 30-plus high school athletes with most being 2025 and 2026 prospects.

Current quarterback commit Grayson Wilson of Central Arkansas Christian headlined the visitor list. Pittman asked him to speak about his commitment to the Razorback program.

“My visit went great,” Wilson said. “In the introduction meeting, Coach Pittman asked me if I would like to speak about why I was committed to the Hogs. I said that Fayetteville was a great place to be and the coaching staff really cares about the players. I have grown up a Razorback fan so it is a dream come true. I also believe in Coach Pittman and think he is a great coach and an amazing leader of the team. I believe that with the coaches that he has brought in, there will be something special coming to Fayetteville!”

ProHogs Making Big Impact for Teams in Big Moments

The 3-star passer is poised for a ratings bump by recruiting services for his performance during offseason camps. Wilson currently ranks as the No. 561 prospect for 2025, per 247sports. He is the No. 35 quarterback and No. 3 player in the state of Arkansas.

Known as one of the state’s top sophomore prospects, Josiah Warrior-Benson, was extremely productive this season. The 6-foot-4 receiver pulled in 50 receptions for 977 yards and 13 touchdowns this season. Warrior-Benson is high school teammates with Wilson at Central Arkansas Christian.

Owasso, Oklahoma athlete Bryson Brown returned to Fayetteville. The freshman is an Arkansas native living in Pine Bluff before moving to the Sooner state. He is considered a wide receiver, according to 247sports. He possesses exceptional size for a young wideout standing at 5-11.

Fellow Owasso teammate Blake Cherry was in attendance with Brown on Saturday. The 6-5, 290 pound offensive lineman received his ninth scholarship offer from the Razorbacks. Cherry holds other offers from Colorado State, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and UNLV.

2025 receiver Damien Long of Burleson, Texas attended Junior Day on Saturday. He caught 29 passes for 771 yards and nine touchdowns this season. Long averaged nearly 30-yards per catch. 

The Hogs also offered sophomore Troy Pless last week. The offensive lineman from Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas possesses prototypical size Mateos and Pittman like to utilize.

 He stands at 6-6, 275 pounds and currently holds offers from fellow Power Four programs Baylor and Texas Tech. Other schools that have expressed interest in Pless are TCU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame.

NEW OFFERS

A new offer went out to 2026 Carthage running back KJ Edwards on Sunday. The 5-10, 170 pounder reports a 4.42 second 40-yard dash. Edwards currently ranks as the No. 96 prospect, per [LINK 247]. He holds offers from Baylor, Georgia, Houston, Texas Tech and Nebraska. Texas hosted him for its Junior Day on Sunday.

Another eighth grade offer was extended to Savannah Christian school offensive lineman RJ Brown, Jr. He possesses tremendous size at 6-3, 265 pounds.

2025 4-star receiver Kelshaun Johnson received an offer from Arkansas this weekend. The top-200 prospect from Hitchcock, Texas holds offers from Oregon, Texas, Penn State, Texas A&M and many others. He ranks as the No. 194 prospect in the country and No. 28 overall player in the Lonestar State.

2026 Owasso, Oklahoma defensive tackle Tajh Overton was extended from Arkansas over the weekend. The 6-3, 275 pounder was extremely disruptive as a sophomore recording 64 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 15 quarterback pressures and five sacks. Overton holds three other offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Kansas State.

“I’m truly blessed to have it,” Overton said. “I love the coaching staff, and I love the environment.”

Bonita, California 2025 prospect Dylan Robinson received an offer from the Razorbacks on Thursday. The 6-3, 190 pounder plays both defensive back and wide receiver for the Bearcats. Robinson visited Stanford over the weekend and has offers from Arizona State, Washington, Penn State and UCLA. Arkansas defensive coordinator Travis Williams was in town last week.
