Arkansas Commit Reverses Course After Just Two Weeks
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas has lost a JUCO transfer after just announcing his commitment on Nov. 30.
Tight end Gregory Genross' crusade through Fayetteville sums up the modern-day transfer portal, Genross entered the portal, committed, and decommitted, all in the span of a month.
The 6-7, 230-pound native from New York City played his first two seasons at Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kan. He was one of the top JUCO tight ends in this year's class. He accumulated 26 catches and 265 yards across 17 games, including 16 catches for 173 yards last season.
Arkansas already gained the commitment of Andreas Paaske from Eastern Michigan out of the portal. Genross took an official visit to Mississippi State this past weekend, according to HawgBeat.
