FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas' Davonte Davis may be glad he hung on to having a return possible, but still no idea what he will decide. Devo wasn't one of four Razorbacks invited to the NBA Combine and also wasn't on the invitation list for the G League Elite Camp, either.

Neither was Tramon Mark or Eli Ellis, who are targets for Hogs coach Eric Musselman. The Hogs' roster has a couple of openings now, but Davis and Walsh wanted to explore their possible value at the next level, but keep the option of returning on the table.

It's all a question for one of the more popular players with fans in recent years. Devo's style of play won them over when he was a freshman. Walsh may be a bigger question mark because projections for him in the NBA Draft are all over the board ... from the first round to not even being picked.

But Devo is the one who is on the only one that can answer if he wants to roll the dice on being picked somewhere or having to go play in Europe or elsewhere. As I often tend to say on these things, it's a grown man's decision and he's got to deal with whatever the possible consequences are in a decision like that, one way or the other.

Everybody has until May 31 to make up their mind. Musselman may or may not have other people in mind, but fans should just relax. If nothing else, the track record of him figuring it out is pretty good. We might not know that until next March, but that's when you really want it to work out best.
