FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — When Arkansas put the redshirt on Keyon Menifield a week or so ago, we asked the question if coach Eric Musselman had something in mind for the scholarship he suddenly had available. We got the answer late Friday afternoon.

The Razorbacks have picked up 6-7 transfer forward Denijay Harris from Southern Miss. Multiple media outlets are reporting he has been on campus this summer with the team for recent portions of workouts.

He started 22 games for the Golden Eagles last year, averaging 8.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in more than 24 minutes of action per game while shooting an efficient 56.5 percent from the field on the year and a 67.8 percent clip at the free-throw line.

We kinda had the idea something was going on, not that we really expected to hear anything from Musselman. That usually doesn't happen at this point, but fans and speculation are going to happen. Now, at least, the Hogs' roster appears fairly set and with classes starting in a few weeks, it shouldn't change.

Harris joins a class that includes transfers Tramon Mark (Houston), Khalif Battle (Temple), El Ellis (Louisville), Jeremiah Davenport (Cincinnati), Chandler Lawson (Memphis) and non-scholarship redshirt Keyon Menifield (Washington) along with high school recruits Layden Blocker and Baye Fall.

On top of returning players Davonte Davis, Trevon Brazile, Makhi Mitchell, Jalen Graham and Joseph Pinion, the roster appears to be set now with 13 roster spots filled. The only thing left is Musselman managing the pieces. We've seen that usually works out pretty well.
