WATCH: Auburn Star Player Thinks He Entered Hogs Twilight Zone
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — When choosing a comfortable stay for an Arkansas game during football season is almost impossible. Basketball season makes it a little easier. For Auburn’s basketball team, they were accommodated in a unique Razorback themed treat, The Graduate.
Step inside Graduate Fayetteville and find yourself immersed in local history, legends and Razorback traditions. At our hotel, creative interiors and college nostalgia come together for a stay that's undeniably Fayetteville.
On The Graduate’s website, it describes the environment of each room but they do leave out a few details. Auburn’s star guard, Johni Broome went on his Instagram for a live video capturing his surprise of his room theme. As a warning to those who may have children around, explicit language is used.
Highlights include camouflage carpet, a painting of a man holding a gun over the toilet, a stuffed hog on a mount between the beds. Comparisons to grandma’s house makes this a hilarious reel that keeps both Auburn and Arkansas fanbases laughing.
For Arkansas, Broome will be the key Tiger to keep its eye on during tomorrow’s SEC opener. The former Morehead State transfer comes into the game averaging 17 points and nine rebounds per contest. His three point shooting has become a solid part to his game after making 3-of-4 attempts in Auburn’s last game against Penn.
Recent series history has been very close between the two programs with four of the last six games decided by nine points or less.
Tip-off between Arkansas and Auburn is set for 1 p.m. inside Bud Walton Arena and will be aired on ESPN2.
