GALLERY: Auburn commit Malik Autry performs during Opelika High School spring game
Auburn commit Malik Autry got some work in during Opelika High School's spring game on Friday afternoon.
Autry, a four-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting cycle, is currently the Tigers' first and lone commit of the 2025 class. Auburn is one of nine SEC schools to already have a commit in the 2025 cycle.
Autry is young and his recruiting cycle still has two calendar years before it is complete, however, the Tigers should feel confident that Malik will stay as he seems to be locked in with his commitment to what is essentially his hometown team, as he is an incoming junior for the Opelika Bulldogs.
Malik might be young but he is already a college-ready prospect in terms of height and weight. Autry stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 280 pounds. This size will definitely translate to him being a more interior guy in his future high school and college career.
Autry has played at edge and interior defensive tackle but will switch to interior only as he has grown and put on more weight.
Here are some photos from Autry's performance in Opelika High School's spring game.
