Edouard Julien has been called up to the show and is making his debut for the Twins, starting at second base.
Julien was listed as a top 100 prospect in MLB baseball after a good showing at the plate a season ago. Julien also put up big numbers at the World Baseball Classic and in spring training, helping make the decision for the Twins to call him up easy.
Julien being called up to the big leagues makes him the 58th MLB player in Auburn baseball history.
The Twins are off to a hot start at 7-4, but they hope Julien will bring a spark to the club.
His power has been there for years, but since leaving Auburn and working his way through the minor leagues has hit for average and learned to play some quality defense.
Best of luck to Julien as he makes his major league debut against the Chicago White Sox at home in front of the Twins fans.
It's really exciting to see the "Canadian Crusher" put on an MLB uniform. Julien has a long and successful career ahead of him in the Twin Cities.
