The Big Hurt had his statue unveiled on Saturday.
Auburn University chose to honor one of, if not the best baseball player in Tigers’ history on Saturday morning before Auburn football’s spring game.
Thomas, who finished with 521 home runs over the course of an 18-year MLB career, is an inductee of both the college and professional baseball hall of fame.
