Auburn RHP Joseph Gonzalez and outfielder Bobby Peirce are back for another year

The Auburn baseball team received great news as Jason Caldwell first reported Joseph Gonzalez and Bobby Peirce are back for another year on the Plains.
Peirce had a .343 batting average last season for the Tigers to go along with five bombs and 26 RBI's.
Gonzalez was tabbed one of the best starters in college baseball heading into the 2023 season.
He made one start where he looked dominant against Indiana in the first series of the season, then was done for the year with an injury.
The righty with a power sinker was expected to be a hot name surrounding the MLB Draft, but after the injury went undrafted, coming as a big surprise to many.
Gonzalez decided to come back for another year where he will be the ace of the staff with a chip on his shoulder after not one MLB team took a shot on him.
Having these two back to go along with players like Ike Irish, Chris Stanfield, and Cooper McMurray will make Auburn a top tear team in the SEC once again.
This Tiger ball club will be awful scary in 2024.
