Auburn set to face off with Virginia Tech in the new SEC/ACC Challenge
Auburn is set to do battle with Virginia Tech in the first annual SEC/ACC Challenge.
This game will take place in Neville Arena, meaning The Jungle can show the ACC what the fans are all about on the Plains.
This game will take place on November 29th at 8:15 ct.
The Hokies went 19-15 last season and missed the NCAA Tournament after an early exit in the ACC Tournament.
They played in the NIT but left after a first-round loss to Cincinnati 81-72.
The Hokies lost their leading scorer in Grant Basile as he will head to Italy to start his pro basketball career.
Virginia Tech was a good shooting team a season ago, shooting 36.2% from beyond the arc.
This should be a fun game as Auburn and Virginia Tech go head to head, but it's a game I believe the Tigers will win in front of their home crowd.
This SEC/ACC Challenge will be fun for years to come and will prove that the SEC isn't just a football conference.
