Former Auburn guard Wendell Green Jr. to play in the NBA Summer League for the Cleveland Cavaliers
Former Auburn guard Wendell Green Jr. decided to leave college and see what pro basketball had to offer.
Green Jr. went underrated, but the Cleveland Cavaliers brought him on to play for their Summer League Team.
This is great for Green Jr. as he will at least get a shot to prove to the NBA community what his game is all about.
He will be facing the best of the best on a game to game basis, which is just going to make him better.
Green Jr. is a smaller guard, which NBA teams don't love, so hopefully, during his time wearing a Cavs jerseys in the NBA Summer League, he will be able to prove his heart is greater than his height.
Best of luck to Green Jr. as his dream of becoming an NBA player begins.
Summer League will begin on July 7th and come to an end on July 17th.
