Mason Wade is a three-star offensive tackle out of Purcellville, Virginia.

The six-foot-five 295-pound offensive tackle recently cut his list to five schools, including Auburn, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, and Boston College.

It's unusual to see Auburn in a list of this sort with a bunch of ACC teams, but Wade does hold offers from Tennessee, Kentucky, and Clemson, so good programs see upside in him.

Wade visited the Plains in March and then added the Tigers to his final list, so there is definitely mutual interest.

Of the five schools that made the cut, Auburn is the only one Wade has yet to officially visit.

When it comes to Wade's ability on the field, he is powerful and has a high football IQ.

He gets upfield to linebackers quickly and has a great pass-blocking drop step helping him create separation.

Arguably the best thing about Wade is his nickname, "Moose." I couldn't think of a better nickname for a lineman if I tried.

The goal for the Tigers in this recruitment will be to get Wade on campus for another visit.

Wade is a technically sound tackle who would be a great addition to Auburn's 2024 recruiting class.
