Liberty EDGE Stephen Sings transfers to Auburn
Auburn football has added another EDGE prospect to their room.
Stephen Sings, a two-year starter at Liberty, has committed to the Tigers per his social media.
Sings appeared in 25 games over the course of three seasons for the Flames, recording 48 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks. He was apart of a Liberty front that finished third nationally in total sacks in 2022.
The Tigers exited 2022 with a very thin EDGE room, but thanks to the portal Auburn has reloaded, adding Sings alongside the likes of Jalen McLeod (App State), Mosiah Nasili-Kite (Maryland), and Elijah McAllister (Vanderbilt).
Sings is the Tigers' 19th addition through the transfer portal this offseason.
The Auburn Tigers had ten players depart from the program during the spring transfer portal window, including three backup linebackers:
Quarterback TJ Finley
Wide receiver Tar'Varish Dawson
Wide receiver Landen King
Offensive lineman Colby Smith
Defensive lineman Jeffrey M'ba
Defensive lineman Tobechi Okoli
Defensive end Dylan Brooks
Linebacker Kameron Brown
Linebacker Desmond Tisdol
Linebacker Powell Gordon
Auburn has pulled in an impressive haul thus far during Hugh Freeze's first season on the Plains, currently sitting at No. 3 nationally in 247Sports' transfer portal class rankings.
