Auburn football ranked outside of top 25 in CBS Sports rankings

The Tigers are ranked outside the top 25 in CBS Sports' rankings.

Auburn football hasn't ranked inside the top 25 since November 7th, 2021.

It's doubtful that they will be ranked to begin the 2023 season.

CBS Sports has released their preseason college football rankings for all 133 FBS teams. According to the rankings, Auburn will have to do some work to get back into the top 25.

Hugh Freeze's Tigers rank No. 38 in the preseason rankings. That's good for 10th in the SEC.

The Tigers kick off the 2023 season on September 2nd at home vs UMass at 2 p.m. CT on ESPN.
