At SEC Media Days, Luke Deal was asked about the 2022 matchup with Texas A&M, where Coach Carnell Williams led the Tigers over the Aggies 13-10.

This was a game where Auburn fans came out in bunches to support the Tigers.

Deal was asked about this atmosphere, and here was his response," That year had been very disappointing. Up until then, with the way that we wanted it to go. It did not. To just arrive there at that Tiger Walk to see that many screaming fans in orange and blue is something I still get chills thinking about. It's something that you don't get very many places. It's why I love this place. It's why I am so blessed and honored to represent Auburn today and hopefully every day."

Auburn is one of the best fanbases in college football, and they proved that in this game, showing up to see a team with a losing record pick up a victory.
