Colby Wooden has a real shot at playing time in his rookie season for the Green Bay Packers
Colby Wooden was drafted in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers, and it seems like the former Auburn defensive lineman has a shot at playing time.
According to Packers beat writers Wooden will be competing with TJ Slaton and Karl Brooks for a starting role.
The article by Rob Reischel was titled "The door is open for rookie Colby Wooden" which leads me to believe mini camp has gone great so far, which could lead to playing time.
You don't always see fourth-round picks come in and get playing time early, so if Wooden was able to get this done, it would be impressive.
He is a talented defensive lineman who tallied 15 sacks in his Auburn career, so no one would be surprised if Wooden had a monster rookie year.
Reischel, at the end of this article, predicted Wooden to win the starting job for the Green Bay Packers.
This would be exciting to see the former Auburn defensive lineman getting after quarterbacks in Lambeau Field.
