Auburn moved up a few spots in the ESPN FPI rankings over the bye week
Auburn is hopefully well rested as they are coming off their much-needed bye week, where hopefully the Tigers found some offensive answers.
Heading into the bye week, Auburn was ranked 32nd in the ESPN FPI rankings, but after some things shuffled in the college football world, they moved up to the 30th spot.
Auburn's projected record for the season stayed at 6.6-5.4 over the Tigers bye week.
Hugh Freeze's squad's chances of winning six or more football games increased from 84.2% to 84.5% over the week off.
The Auburn Tigers are now setting their attention to the LSU Tigers, who have proven that can and will score points at a high rate.
Over their last three games, LSU has scored 34, 49, and 49 points, so this team will score. It will be up to the Auburn offense to match against a not great LSU defense.
The ESPN FPI rankings give the Auburn Tigers a 24.2% to win this ball game on the road.
If Auburn was able to win this game on the road, the FPI numbers would shoot in the right direction for next week.
