Early bowl projection has Auburn football in Florida bowl
The Auburn Tigers are expected to rebound from their 5-7 campaign in 2022 and land in a bowl this upcoming season.
Brett McMurphy of the Action Network released his early bowl projections for 2023 and placed Hugh Freeze's Auburn Tigers in the Gator Bowl, facing off against Louisville.
The Cardinals are also underneath the guidance of a first-year head coach in Jeff Brohm.
The game line would be a pick 'em, according to the Action Network.
247Sports also recently released their early bowl projections for the 2023 season, slotting Auburn in the Birmingham Bowl against Memphis.
Fans have high expectations than finishing 6-6 and going to the Birmingham Bowl Auburn in Hugh Freeze's first season. Auburn's schedule, as daunting as it may be, gets easier with the addition of transfer portal quarterback Payton Thorne.
