Podcast: Martavious Collins commits to Auburn football

Martavious Collins becomes the fifth player in the 2024 Auburn recruiting class.

Auburn football has landed the fifth member of the 2024 Auburn football recruiting class with the addition of Martavious Collins. The former Alabama Crimson Tide commit pulled his commitment and has been pursued hard by Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers ever since.

Collins, a four-star ATH who primarily plays TE, was committed to Alabama for over six months but in early February decided to decommit. This decision was three weeks removed from his visit to Auburn on January 14th. The Tigers put Collins in their sights and that seems to have paid off as following his visit to the A-Day game, on April 8th, he announced a commitment to Auburn University almost a week later on April 14th.
