Top BYU Transfers

Here are the six incoming BYU transfers that received the highest transfer ratings. It’s worth noting that Harrison Taggart has not received a transfer rating yet.

Aidan Robbins - 92 Rating

Aidan Robbins

UNLV transfer Aidan Robbins received a four-star (92) rating after running for more than 1,000 yards last season. A 92 rating is tied for the best RB rating nationally. Robbins is projected to start at running back for BYU this season.

Eddie Heckard - 91 Rating

Weber State transfer Eddie Heckard received a four-star transfer rating. Heckard, like Robbins, is projected to be a week-one starter at BYU.

Kedon Slovis - 89 Rating

Quarterback Kedon Slovis won the starting job during Spring Camp. Slovis has NFL potential when he's healthy, but he has struggled with consistency over the last few years while playing for different coaching staffs. The addition Slovis was vital to BYU's first season in the Big 12 - it could be the difference between missing out on a bowl game and 6-8 wins next season.

Caleb Etienne - 89 Rating

Caleb Etienne

Caleb Etienne is a massive man that started every game for Oklahoma State at left tackle last season. Etienne is projected to start at right tackle for BYU in 2023.

Paul Maile - 88 Rating

Paul Maile

Utah transfer Paul Maile started at center for the Utes last season. Maile, who was sidelined with an injury during the Spring, is another transfer that is projected to start along the offensive line this season. He received a high three-star rating from 247Sports.

AJ Vongphachanh - 88 Rating

AJ Vongphachanh

AJ Vongphachanh led the Aggies last season with 101 tackles including 10.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. In his four years at Utah State, Vongphachanh racked up over 220 career tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 7 sacks.
