Recruits Debut the Big 12 Logo on BYU Football Uniforms
BYU is just days away from officially becoming a member of the Big 12 Conference. This weekend, BYU hosted multiple recruits on campus for official visits. As part of the photoshoots that are customary during official visits, the recruits debuted the Big 12 logo on the BYU jerseys.
American Fork's Davis Andrews, one of BYU's top priorities in the 2024 recruiting class, posted this picture from his official visit in the white jersey with royal trim.
His teammate, American Fork's Jett Nelson, committed to BYU after his official visit. Nelson debuted the Big 12 logo on the royal blue jersey in his commitment announcement:

Bountiful safety prospect Faletau Satuala was another recruit on campus this weekend. Satuala is one of the top in-state prospects in the 2024 class.
Corner Canyon standout Kash Dillon, who told Cougs Daily last week that he is deciding between BYU and Utah, was another top target on campus.
Ephraim Asiata, the son of former Utah great Matt Asiata, was on the official visit.
For the first time in program history, BYU will kick off the 2023 season as a member of a Power Five conference. The Cougars face non-conference opponents Sam Houston, Southern Utah, and Arkansas before taking on a nine-game conference slate that starts with a road contest at Kansas.
BYU to Big 12 Festivities
BYU officially joins the Big 12 on July 1, 2023. The BYU Athletic Department has prepared multiple activities this week for fans to celebrate BYU's admission into the Big 12. Below is agenda for the upcoming week.

Sunday, June 25 | 6 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m.
Marriott Center and BYUtv
Join BYU Football Head Coach Kalani Sitake and BYU student-athlete speakers Tyler Batty, Whitney Bower, Olivia Katoa and Chase Roberts for a special BYU Athletics Devotional. This is a free, non-ticketed event. All are invited and encouraged to attend in person at the Marriott Center. The devotional will also air live on BYUtv.
The BIG Countdown Show
Friday, June 30 | 11:30 p.m.
SAB Practice Field
A limited group of fans will be able to attend in person. The show will also be stream live via @BYUcougars accounts on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Join hosts Spencer Linton, Jarom Jordan and Alema Harrington for the BIG Countdown show. Ring in BYU to the Big 12 with special guest appearances, fireworks and lighting of the Y on the mountain.
