Heading into Saturday's 4 p.m. home game against Washington State, Cal )4-4) knows it needs t win two games to become bowl-eligibility, although that would not guarantee the Bears a bowl berth.

Before this weekend's game, Cal's chances of landing in a postseason game were not good. Only three of the 11 expert sites we cited projected that Cal would be in a bowl game.

Those three predicted three different destinations against three different foes for the Bears. The Sporting News has Cal facing Virginia in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas. College Football News thinks the Bears will play Illinois in the nearby Redbox Bowl. Bleacher Report has Cal playing Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl.

A win against Washongton State would go a long way toward ensuring Cal plays a bowl game for the second straight season.

Here are the bowl projections of the 11 experts:

Sporting News: Cal vs. Virginia, Sun Bowl, Dec. 31

College Football News: Cal vs. Illinois, Redbox Bowl (Santa Clara), Dec. 30
