Cincinnati a Moderate Betting Underdog Ahead of Baylor Matchup
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are moderate betting underdogs in tonight's quarterfinal action against Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament. The Bears are five-point favorites with a total of 141 points.
UPDATE: According to The Action Network, three major sharp bettors are on the Bears to cover and 79% of bets are on Baylor. The line has moved all the way to seven points at some books.
Cincinnati is now 16-15-1 against the spread this season after whooping Kansas as three-point favorites. The Bears have been fantastic against the number this season, going 18-10-2. That ranks among the top 20 teams nationally in ATS rankings and is the best in the Big 12.
Baylor is one of the rare teams in college basketball with six players averaging at least 10 points per game. They are also much healthier than Kansas was on Wednesday.
All in all, it's a major jump in competition and another Quad 1 opportunity to keep injecting life into a livelier at-large bid (25% chance to make NCAA Tournament as at-large on TeamRankings).
