CINCINNATI — Wes Miller made a significant addition to the UC men's basketball staff by hiring Drew Adams to be the associate athletic director for men's basketball.

Adams makes the switch from being an assistant coach at Bradley since 2015. He helped the Braves win consecutive conference titles in 2019 and 2020, marking the first time since 1954 and 1955 the Braves qualified for the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons.

"Drew is one of the brightest young minds in college basketball," Cincinnati head coach Wes Miller said in a press release. "His experience in operations, recruiting, and coaching at the highest level – including multiple NCAA Tournament bids and conference championships at several different elite programs – has given him an impressive resume and the skills to come into Cincinnati and immediately make us better in every facet of our program."

Adams also spent time as an assistant at the University of New Mexico before working at Bradley. There is an interesting recruiting nugget that comes with this new hire as well.

The family ties between Adams and top 2024 UC target Flory Bidunga are very strong. That's prompted two more 247Sports experts to crystal ball Bidunga to UC, one of which is 66-for-66 on his all-time prediction record.

Bidunga would be the highest-rated UC recruit in the 247Sports era if he commits to playing for Wes Miller. On top of that, he can reclassify to the 2023 class if The Movement is calling him sooner.
