Bengals WR Tee Higgins: Sauce Gardner 'One of Those Rare Talents'

The wide receiver had glowing thoughts for the media surrounding New York's rookie cornerback.

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals travel to face Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner and the New York Jets this weekend, and wide receiver Tee Higgins had some thoughts on Gardner's size.

"It's very unusual," Higgins said about Sauce's 6-foot-3 size. "Nowadays, you see a lot of 6-2, 6-3 corners. So it's kinda getting normal now in the league, but it'll be good."

Higgins clearly respects the young corner's game and should see a few snaps against Gardner on Sunday. The rookie already has seven tackles and two pass break ups (t-16th in NFL) this season.

"An elite talent," Higgins said. "He's tall, but fast got good hips. He's long so he can play the ball well in the air. He's just one of those rare talents that you get, like I said earlier he went first round for a reason."
