Daniel Grzesiak on Altitude, Crowd at BYU: 'I Feel Like Nippert's Better'

Cincinnati takes on BYU this Friday night.

CINCINNATI — UC football edge rusher Daniel Grzesiak has experience facing BYU after his clash against them with Utah State last season. He knows UC will have to be ready for the altitude in a short week.

"Really the elevation is gonna be a factor this game," Grzesiak said. "I feel like the crowd. I feel like Nippert's better so like nothing we haven't seen before, but it's gonna be loud in there. But the elevation is gonna be a little bit of a problem. I played there last year it was nothing crazy."

Grzesiak's had a nice year thus far, ranking second on the team in pressures (10) to buoy the fifth-best PFF defensive grade on the team. He has one of the Bearcats' five forced fumbles this season.

"Oh it's nice, it's really nice, because it's all about the ball, that's how you win games," Grzesiak said about the defense's turnover mentality. "When we made that. win three sports the fumble and are in the red zone. That was a huge turn like that was a huge turn. We got to capitalize off that."
