Luke Fickell Updates Ben Bryant’s Injury Status

The Bearcats starting QB is dealing with a foot ailment.

CINCINNATI — UC head coach Luke Fickell said QB Ben Bryant is tracking towards a game-time decision for Friday’s game against Tulane.

Bryant hurt his foot in the first half against Temple and Evan Prater finished out the 23-3 win.

"I don't know if there's going to be a whole lot of [practice] reps this week for Ben,” Fickell said at his weekly presser. “But he's played a lot of ball, and if we get to the game-time situation and he's able to do it, then we can go that direction."

The Bearcats are two-point home favorites against Tulane on Friday. The winner will host the AAC Championship the following weekend.
