CINCINNATI — Ivan Pace Jr. is the Butkus Award National Linebacker of the Month for October.

He totaled 27 tackles (five for loss), 2.5 sacks, and two pass break ups during the four-game stretch. The playmaker leads the country with 16 tackles for loss and is tied for 10th in sacks (7.0), and 12th in total tackles (10.38).

Pace has made an instant mark after transferring from Miami (OH). He was also named a semifinalist for the Butkus and Bednarik Awards yesterday.
