Report: NFL Teams Targeting Tre Tucker As 'Mid-Rounder They Can Hit On'
CINCINNATI — Former UC wide receiver Tre Tucker is getting draft buzz from NFL teams.
Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy says NFL teams are targeting Tucker as a mid-round pick "they can hit on" following his Pro Day exploits.
"NFL teams needing slot help are targeting Tre Tucker as mid-rounder they can 'hit' on," Nagy tweeted. "One scout texted us saying he got Tucker at 4.33 & 4.36 (seconds) at yesterday’s pro-day. Also put up 16 reps (on the bench press) at 182 pounds, making him one of strongest lb-for-lb prospects in ‘23 draft."
Tucker had a nice outing in the Cincinnati Bengals practice bubble on Thursday.
Bengals special teams coach Darrin Simmons worked out the UC receiver/returner at the event. Tucker is ranked 208th on the consensus big board and 29th among receivers.
