The Athletic Ranks Cincinnati Last Among Big 12 Teams Following Miami (OH) Loss

Cincinnati fell to the RedHawks 31-24.

CINCINNATI — The Athletic revealed its full ranking of every FBS team following Week 3 and UC took a big tumble after a nice Week 2 jump.

The 31-24 loss to Miami (OH) knocked UC from No. 42 to No. 79 in the rankings. They also fell in ESPN's FPI from No. 24 to No. 37 overall.

They still rank seventh among Big 12 teams in FPI, but are a head-scratching 14th out of 14 Big 12 teams in The Athletic ranking. Cincinnati is right back to fighting low expectations after squandering a chance to set up an undefeated matchup against No. 14 Oklahoma this weekend.
