In-State 2026 Athlete Jakob Weatherspoon Talks Cincinnati Offer

In-state prospect Jakob Weatherspoon talks about his fourth offer.
In this story:

TUNNEL HILL — Cincinnati recently offered in-state 2026 prospect Jakob Weatherspoon. He is an unranked athlete from Avon High School in Avon, Ohio. The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect holds offers from four schools according to 247Sports (Cincinnati, Michigan, Toledo, and Akron).

He is not ranked on a major service.

“I was pretty stoked when the coach told me that he was gonna offer me,” the Avon athlete told All Bearcats. “I feel that the program is great and that the coaching staff is well run. I feel that the fact they have no depth chart makes it so much more unique and interesting.”

The junior is ready to see more of what the program has to offer.

“I will definitely come back down for a camp and a gameday later on as well,” Weatherspoon stated. “I talked to Coach (Scott) Satterfield, Coach (Kerry) Coombs, Coach (Tyson) Veidt, Coach Cass (Simmons), and many more and their biggest thing was that don't let anyone else make a decision for you it’s what you want not them. Coach Coombs also said that trust your family they know you more than you know yourself.”
