Recruiting Roundup: UC Among Four-Star RB's Top Schools, Multiple Major Talents Visiting For Oklahoma
CINCINNATI — A massive game awaits UC football on Saturday as it welcomes Oklahoma for the first Big 12 matchup of the season.
The Bearcats have plenty of recruiting news burbling up around the game starting with a top-eight from four-star 2025 running back Tiqwai Hayes out of Aliquippa (Pennsylvania).
It may just be a formality as Hayes is widely projected to land with Penn State. The Nittany Lions, UC, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Michigan, West Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan State make up the rest of his finalists.
According to 247Sports, Hayes is the 342nd-ranked player nationally and the 33rd-best running back.
The 5-foot-10, 185-pound talent held 13 offers before cutting down his list.
Moving to the offers we start with an offer to four-star 2025 edge rusher Chad Woodfork out of Summer Creek (Texas).
According to 247Sports, Woodfork is the 44th-best player nationally and the sixth-best edge rusher.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defender holds 17 offers from schools like Baylor and Duke.
We also have one sent to three-star 2024 Central Michigan commit Aiden Pastoriza out of Lumen Christi (Michigan).
According to 247Sports, Pastoriza is the 1,805th-ranked player nationally and the 145th-ranked offensive tackle.
He committed to CMU on June 24 and this is his first Power Five offer.
We close the offers with one for three-star 2025 linebacker Jason King out of DeSmet (Missouri).
According to 247Sports, King is the 638th-ranked player nationally and the 53rd-ranked linebacker overall.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker holds offers from 10 schools like Ball State and Kentucky.
