Recruiting Roundup: UC Offers Five-Star 2025 Forward Jamier Jones

Cincinnati has some intriguing visitors heading to Clifton soon as well.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats have a couple of interesting recruiting nuggets to touch on as football season continues and basketball season approaches quickly.

Things start with an offer to five-star 2025 small forward Jamier Jones out of Oak Ridge (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Jones is the 15th-best player nationally and the third-best small forward. ESPN has him ranked 12th overall and fourth among small forwards

The 6-foot-6, 207-pound talent holds five other logged offers from Houston, Ole Miss, Texas, South Florida, and Kansas State.

Jones is a walking bounce house with a ton of athleticism at the three spot. He brings great energy on offense and can get to the rim fast from a variety of angles.

The junior plays for the same AAU squad as UC freshman guard Jizzle James did in his high school career, Florida Rebels.

Moving to visits, we have a three-star 2024 edge rusher Drew Collins out of Minor (Alabama) visiting UC this weekend for the Miami (OH) matchup.

Cincinnati does not have a listed offer for the talent but Collins holds seven offers from schools like Troy and Georgia Southern.

According to 247Sports, Collins is the 108th-ranked edge rusher and the 63rd-best player in Alabama.

Cincinnati is also getting a visit from local 2025 Kings (Ohio) offensive lineman Kage Payne this coming weekend.

According to 247Sports, Payne is the 57th-ranked interior offensive lineman nationally and the 50th-best player in Ohio.

UC has not offered the 6-foot-3, 280-pound talent but he does hold 10 other offers from schools like Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic.

A basketball visitor is headed to Clifton soon as well. 2025 shooting guard Braylon Mullins, out of Greenfield-Central School (Indiana) is visiting UC the weekend of Oct. 21.

He is not currently ranked on a major service.

Mullins plays for Indiana Elite (a familiar squad for UC's staff) on the AAU circuit but is not ranked on a major service. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard holds 12 other offers from schools like Iowa and Kent State.
