The three-star offensive lineman prospect has visited campus before.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati football recently sent out an offer to a talented offensive guard prospect Kenneth McManus from Washington, DC.

McManus holds a three-star rating on Rivals. The 6-foot-3 296-pound prospect spoke with All Bearcats following the conversation with UC.

“The offer means a lot! Anytime a prestigious school with the history that Cincinnati has offered you a chance to be a part of their program it’s special.”

He dove deeper into his conversation with Cincinnati. “I initially spoke with (director of player personnel) Jack Griffith. Then he introduced me to Coach Cardwell. He asked me a couple of questions about me and my family getting more toward the personal aspect. Then he told me some more things about the program and he said he wanted to offer me a scholarship to Cincinnati. We built the relationship from there.” McManus states. “They like how I play the game and can see me fitting into their system. They care about building a genuine relationship with me. I’m a very versatile interior offensive lineman but I believe leading an offensive line from the center position best fits my attributes. I believe I can get offenses out of bad plays and into good ones from the center position.”

McManus has visited Cincinnati multiple times in the past as well.

“I have been to the campus twice and loved the plans for the future with the facility," He declared. "Hopefully, an official visit date will be set in stone. I believe what makes UC unique is it’s a very supportive town with loyal fans that just want to win!”
