BREAKING: Clemson stays hot, lands 5-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco
Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers coaching staff apparently had all the right moves this past weekend. Following a huge few days at Clemson that saw multiple high-profile recruits visit the program, the Tigers have landed some of the best of the 2024 class.
It started on Monday when 5-star linebacker Sammy Brown out of Jefferson, Georgia. committed to the Tigers. Then earlier on Tuesday, 4-star wide receiver TJ Moore from Tampa Catholic announced his commitment. Now, just hours later, Clemson earned another pledge, this time from 5-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco.
The 6-foot-2 wideout from Midlothian, Texas announced the move on his Twitter. In 2022, Wesco went for 58 catches for 1,160 yards and 17 TDs. Clemson offered Wesco back in March. He chose the Tigers over Texas, TCU, LSU, and Oklahoma.
Wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham was the primary recruiter on Wesco, but new offensive coordinator Garrett Riley - whose latest stops include TCU and SMU - played a big part in landing Wesco.
