Clemson picked to win ACC by media members
The ACC has been a conference dominated by a singular team over the past decade. Clemson has won seven of the past eight ACC titles. In the last ten years, Florida State (2) and Pitt (1) are the only other schools to win the conference.
As we enter August, the main storyline in the ACC is who will topple Clemson. Florida State is the popular pick and North Carolina, the team Clemson beat in the title game last year, has a puncher's chance with quarterback Drake Maye. However, according to the media on hand at ACC media days, the Tigers are still the favorite to win in 2023.
Clemson picked up 103 of 176 first-place votes. Florida State received 67, while North Carolina picked up 5. Full poll below.
