Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is PFF's highest-graded run-stopper
Clemson didn't have a ton of certainties coming into this season. There were a lot of unknowns, but amongst the question marks lived a solid fact: Clemson's linebackers are really good.
The combination of Barrett Carter and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is as good as it gets in college football, and, according to PFF, Trotter is certainly living up to the hype. The football analytics site has Trotter ranked as their highest-graded run-stopping linebacker.
Over 325 snaps, a team-high, the junior linebacker has racked up 37 tackles, including 6.5 for a loss. He, along with Carter and their defensive teammates, are holding teams to 86.3 yards on the ground per game and 2.74 yards per carry.
