Don't say these words around Coach Prime
Deion Sanders is passionate when it comes to coaching. But there are two words nobody should ever mutter in front of him. The Hall of Famer gave some insight during the latest video for Well Off Media.
"I can't stand my bad," Sanders admitted. "I know it's your bad. Coaches hate that. Parents hate that. Don't say my bad because we know it's your bad."
The words "My bad" fuels a spark in Prime and speaks to the type of culture he's creating at Colorado. One that strives for self-accountability through positivity, which is truly unprecedented at this level for the Buffaloes.
Sanders is back coaching on the field days after receiving a consultation regarding the status of blood circulation in his left foot.
Prime, 55, has experienced his first real setback following surgery last year, forcing the amputation of two toes. He seemed in great spirits around his staff on Monday. Less than 24 hours after dropping the latest Sanders' kid rankings with Deiondra taking the top spot.
