Deion Sanders to ESPN's Ed Werder and the naysayers, "Do you believe now?"

Coach Prime was ready for this moment
In this story:

Deion Sanders is the talk of the college football world, and rightfully so after pulling out a 45-42 upset win over 17th-ranked TCU on Saturday. A masterful job of coming into Boulder and building a team from scratch.

Coach Prime called out a few in the media, including ESPN's Ed Werder, who took a front row seat at the press conference. Keep in mind that the relationship with Sanders and Werder goes back decades, but this was personal for Deion. He took hit after hit over the past eight months, especially from two ESPN commentators who said TCU was going to hang "Half-a-hundred" and the Buffs had the worst roster in college football.

Three takeaways from Colorado's upset win over TCU

Sanders was talking to Werder directly when he said, "Do you believe now." He was also telling ESPN's representative the "Worldwide leader in sports" better stop sleeping on him and his Buffaloes team.

Shedeur Sanders threw for a CU record 510 yards with four touchdowns. He put on a show to the world on behalf of his father, as the Buffaloes upended last year’s national runner-up. This wasn't just hype over the past few months. It was reality going into motion for one of the best opening games in recent memories.

Colorado has a good chance at starting the season at 3-0 with back-to-back home games against Nebraska and Colorado State filling up the next two weeks. The Huskers lost to a terrible Minnesota team by way of a last-second field goal. It wasn't the opener Matt Rhule was hoping for after being handed his walking papers in the NFL.

If you don't believe in Prime now, what is it going to take?
