Colorado vs. Stanford: How to watch, Game Time & TV schedule
Even after stating it was “The dumbest thing ever,” Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders has yet another late start in this Pac-12 'After Dark' contest against a 1-4 Stanford team, who's coming off a rough game against the Oregon Ducks.
Colorado is now 4-2 on the season after a 27-24 win at Arizona State last week. Travis Hunter is cleared to play and will likely be held to a snap count, which is nowhere near the number of reps from his first two games of the season. The return of Hunter and the Buffaloes are rolling, looking for a second win in Pac-12 play. A great chance to re-enter the top 25 with a win over the Cardinal and remain bowl eligible down the road.
The Buffs need to take control of the game early and limit the number of early scores by the Cardinal, who have scored on their opening drives in their last three contests. Colorado did not force a single turnover in the win last week over ASU, which is a first for the Buffs this year, but that increases with the possible return of Hunter for tonight`s game.
Even if Coach Prime decides to sit Hunter so he can be as healthy as he was in the first two weeks, this is a very winnable game for CU. If they limit their mistakes and protect Shedeur Sanders against a Stanford defense that doesn't get to the opposing QBs much at all.
