Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders had something to say about Stephen A. Smith's comments from Monday's ESPN First Take. It didn't take him long to respond, and he didn't shy away from the controversy.

"He right," Sanders wrote on social media. "Now, let's move on."

Smith came at Sanders and his son, Shedeur, with some hard love. He opened up by saying the loss to Stanford was an "absolute disgrace" before launching into a rant directed at the Buffs QB.

"Show up, stand up because your daddy, and to the players on that squad, your coach. As much bravado as he had. As much swag as he had. He was the best on the planet week in and week out," Smith said.

"You knew Prime Time, Deion Sanders, was the best probably ever. Y'all aren't on that level. Stop acting like it and show up on the damn field and do what the hell you are supposed to do instead of getting your ass kicked on national television. Somebody gotta say it."

Smith criticized Shedeur Sanders for promoting merchandise on his social media channel at halftime. It wasn't handled by him directly, but the damage was done in the eyes of the ESPN analyst. Many outlets reported that Shedeur posted it and wasn't focused on football. However, a video by Well Off Media shows the Buffs QB in a halftime meeting with offensive coordinator Sean Lewis. Sanders finished with 400 yards and five touchdowns.

The Buffaloes take a week off before heading to Pasadena to face the 25th-ranked UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl. It's the sixth CU game to be picked up on a national network this season, which is the most coverage in program history.
