Three Huge Duke Basketball Targets Pose Together in Special Jerseys
Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) shooting guard VJ Edgecombe, Montverde (Fla.) small forward Cooper Flagg, and Paul VI Catholic (Va.) center Patrick Ngongba II were on official Duke basketball visits this past weekend.
They attended Countdown to Craziness on Friday night, sitting beside the Blue Devils' bench before being called, one by one, to join the Cameron Crazies on the other side of the court. Judging by the looks on their faces, all three enjoyed the experience.
Later in the weekend, the program's official visitors (2025 Duke basketball target Nate Ament was in Durham on an unofficial visit, along with 2024 commits Darren Harris, Kon Knueppel, and Isaiah Evans) posed together in Cameron Indoor Stadium's hype room.

As one can see in the following picture that surfaced on social media, the five-star talents were smiling alongside second-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer plus his four assistants: Chris Carrawell, Jai Lucas, Emanuel Dildy, and Will Avery.
Note that the three potential Blue Devils were wearing "The Brotherhood" jerseys, which debuted a few years ago as a tribute (reserved for big-time matchups) to all Duke basketball players, past, present, and future.
VJ Edgecombe, No. 6 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, does not appear to be in a hurry to choose a post-high school destination. Cooper Flagg, No. 1 overall in the class, will likely announce his decision, presumably between Duke and UConn, in the coming weeks. And Patrick Ngongba II, No. 25 overall, will also probably do so soon.

Meanwhile, Scheyer & Co.'s three-deep haul of Harris (Ngongba's teammate at Paul VI Catholic), Knueppel, and Evans ranks No. 4 overall in the country, per 247Sports.
