Duke Basketball: Five-Star Wing Visits Cameron Indoor Stadium Again
For months, North Mecklenburg High School (N.C.) sensation Isaiah Evans, who announced his Duke basketball pledge in April, has publicly quashed rumors that his commitment might be in question. And he inked his national letter of intent with the Blue Devils during the early signing period in November.

In other words, there's no doubt the 6-foot-6, 170-pound forward, a smooth-scoring five-star who ranks No. 13 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, is looking forward to his college career in Durham.
On Saturday afternoon, Evans demonstrated his allegiance once again by making the trip to Cameron Indoor Stadium and watching the 16th-ranked Blue Devils (9-3, 0-1 ACC) tally a 106-69 win over unranked Queens (6-9, 0-0 Atlantic Sun). He sat next to Duke basketball general manager Rachel Baker behind the team's bench.
It's safe to say he enjoyed the show, as Duke was visibly energized and in sync while welcoming back sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor to the rotation following his month-long recovery from a sprained ankle. The Blue Devils posted a season-high 46 points in the first half and followed that up with a season-high 60-point second half.
They dished out a season-high 24 assists.
After the game, Blue Devil Country on SI.com captured Evans making his way toward the locker room area, presumably to soak up the environment with the squad and his future coaches behind the scenes:
One of Isaiah Evans' several prior trips to Cameron was for Countdown to Craziness in October.
That weekend, he was on an official visit alongside the now-four fellow early Duke signees in Montverde Academy (Fla.) five-star forward Cooper Flagg, Wisconsin Lutheran five-star forward Kon Knueppel, and the two Paul VI Catholic (Va.) prizes in five-star center Patrick Ngongba II and four-star forward Darren Harris.
