LOOK: New Duke Basketball Target Wears Blue Devil Jersey
On Wednesday night, the second day of Flory Bidunga's three-day official Duke basketball visit, the Kokomo (Ind.) five-star center announced his offer from the Blue Devils. Despite being new to the recruitment, head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff are now among the perceived frontrunners for the Congo native's services.
And on Thursday evening, Bidunga gave fans a potential preview of what he would look like in a Duke basketball jersey, posting the following pictures and video to his Instagram account of him standing and sitting on Cameron Indoor Stadium's Coach K Court while wearing No. 1:
Flory Bidunga, a 6-foot-9, 220-pound explosive athlete who ranks No. 1 among big men and No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, will likely pick a winning suitor before his senior year of high school begins in early August.
Although he has not named finalists, his five official visits to date — and plans to take one to Indiana in the next few weeks — suggest the primary contenders. The schools that have hosted him are Auburn, Duke, Florida, Kansas, and Michigan.

Still, there are no 247Sports Crystal Ball picks for Bidunga. But judging by his noted interest in the Blue Devils and some recent chatter among recruiting insiders, it wouldn't be a surprise to see one or two predictions appear in favor of Duke in the next few days after he returns home from Durham.
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago, the Blue Devils welcomed another 2024 center to campus for an official visit. That target is Paul VI Catholic (Va.) four-star Patrick Ngongba II, teammate to one of Duke's two 2024 commits in four-star small forward Darren Harris (the other is North Meck (N.C.) five-star small forward Isaiah Evans).
