Four of Duke basketball's five 2024 recruiting prizes put their commitment in ink on Wednesday, the first day of the eight-day early signing.

Those four newly minted Blue Devil signees are Montverde Academy (Fla.) five-star forward Cooper Flagg, Wisconsin Lutheran five-star forward Kon Knueppel, Paul VI Catholic (Va.) five-star center Patrick Ngongba II, and Ngongba's high school teammate, four-star wing Darren Harris.

And there's zero concern over the other member of Duke's top-ranked haul, North Meck (N.C.) five-star forward Isaiah Evans, despite recent rumors, seemingly triggered by a post from national recruiting insider "Trilly Donovan" suggesting one of the Blue Devils' commits might be having second thoughts.

Evans revealed on Thursday afternoon that he'll sign his national letter of intent at 3 p.m. ET Monday. Presumably, he isn't doing so earlier because his school's signing ceremony for its college-bound senior athletes is on that date.

At Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer's press conference on Thursday ahead of the No. 2 Blue Devils' home showdown against No. 12 Arizona on Friday night, the 36-year-old said he'll hold off on commenting on any 2024 recruits until all the current pledges are signed.

However, he did express how happy he is with the collection.

"I'd rather talk about all of them at once," Scheyer noted, as NCAA rules prohibit coaches from commenting on recruits specifically until they sign. "I can tell you that I'm very proud of this class.

"It has great versatility."
